InfrastructurePublished 8th October 2024

Dell Technologies and Red Hat have announced a collaboration that will make Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI (RHEL AI) a preferred platform on the Dell PowerEdge R760xa server and enable faster development and deployment of AI workloads.

► Dell PowerEdge servers first to be validated for RHEL AI

► Enables faster development testing of AI applications

RHEL AI is a foundation model platform built on an AI-optimised operating system that enables users to seamlessly develop, test and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI) models. Dell PowerEdge servers are the first to be validated for RHEL AI for development, testing and running large language models (LLMs) to power enterprise applications.

The collaboration aims to help organisations implement and scale AI/ML strategies and power applications across their businesses. It will provide a reliable and stable platform for AI development and simplify the AI experience for users by continuously testing and validating hardware solutions, including NVIDIA accelerated computing, with RHEL AI.
