Ahead of its full market launch, Samsung has created an exclusive and customised version of its Galaxy Z Flip6 device and presented one to all the 17,000 athletes taking Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The unique device features several AI capabilities including real-time text translation of voice calls and a special slow-motion feature.

As well as being the first-ever Olympic Edition to feature Galaxy AI, the devices come pre-loaded with a full suite of services and apps. In addition to the compact and versatile Flip design, this exclusive edition is adorned with the Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos in gold.
Samsung has used AI to provide special features for athletes, including real-time text translation of calls in 16 languages, made easier to use due to the Flip’s dual screen. It also comes with the smart Composer function, which helps users to draft emails and social media posts by using simple keywords. Instant Slow-mo enables athletes to record, share and analyse performances and Photo Assist helps with resizing and repositioning of images and gives users the ability to remove unwanted objects within photos.
