There is a new name at the helm of TD SYNNEX Maverick – the specialist audiovisual business unit of TD SYNNEX. Mark Glasspool has been appointed senior director of TD SYNNEX Maverick for the UK and Ireland, bringing more than 22 years of channel experience and know-how with the company to the role.

Previously, Mark has worked in numerous senior positions – most recently working on the expansion of the value-added offerings available from TD SYNNEX as services director. He has also worked in leadership roles for the consumer team and print and supplies, and the growth and development of TD SYNNEX’s European PC business.
Commenting on his new challenge, Mark stated: ‘With the phenomenal growth in opportunity around smart meeting rooms, collaboration and hybrid working, Maverick is an exciting place to be right now. While there is still a distinct professional AV segment to the channel, the lines between what is specialist and part of mainstream IT have been blurring as quality audio and video becomes more significant and important to all of us that use apps like Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Webex on a daily basis.

As well as AV products and solutions from leading vendors, such as Microsoft, Logitech, Promethean and many more, Maverick offers a range of pre- and post-sales support to partners on AV equipment and solutions. It also offers pre-sales consultancy services, pre-shipment configuration and specialist shipment and installation service to partners.
Mark Glasspool’s move follows the appointment of former head of Maverick in the UK and Ireland, Anna-Marie Constantinou as Cisco business unit director – Europe.
