Panasonic has launched the FZ-L1, a fully rugged (IP67) seven-inch Android device that is price-competitive with some of the more consumer type devices on the market but still offers Panasonic’s trademark ruggedness and durability.
• Versatile and cost-effective tablet can adapt to variety of uses
• Optional integrated barcode reader available
It can be adapted for many different uses, such as realtime data collection, asset location and checking, job routing, inventory management, and proof of delivery / pick-up confirmation.
The FZ-L1 comes with an optional bar code reader and is available with Wi-Fi only or with optional voice and data capability for field-based use. It weighs around 480g but is rugged enough to stand up to more demanding mobile usage.
Built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, it is both powerful and energy-efficient and a rich ecosystem of management tools and peripherals are available from Panasonic, enabling partners to tailor it to meet customer needs.
Lynne McDonnell, Panasonic Toughbook Brand Manager at TD SYNNEX, said: ‘The FZ-L1 is a great addition to the portfolio that can be tailored for use in many different areas and markets where customers need the perfect balance of good performance, battery life and durability.’
