Solid start for SolidWorks suggests it’s a good platform for growth

Six months into its distribution agreement for the SolidWorks, TD SYNNEX Datech has made a fast start signing new partners and seeing growth in new markets. The results suggest there is good potential for more partners to grow sales and open opportunities in new markets with the design software.

There has been a strong and positive reaction from partners, says Abby Wrigley, Datech Director, UK/I & Benelux. ‘Most partners know about SolidWorks and a good number have been able to identify opportunities and make sales. Awareness of the expert support Datech can offer is growing and more partners are reaching out to us. We’re expecting SolidWorks and DraftSight business to accelerate and believe there are many more latent opportunities out there.’

As well as AEC, partners have made sales in the manufacturing, aerospace, automative and defence sectors.
