Customers are increasingly asking about the sustainability of IT products and HP has now made it really easy to get information about the eco-credentials of its products by launching a new website that provides a breakdown of the sustainability data credentials of its best-selling products.
► Provides sustainability data on almost 7000 HP products
► Details eco standards, recycled content and energy usage
Available to everyone, the user-friendly site is a collaboration called HP and SaaS provider, ecomedes. The site provides details of more than 6700 products from five categories – personal systems, print/printers, monitors, scanners, and supplies.

For each product, buyers can find details about the international eco standards they meet – such as EPEAT, Energy Star, TCO, Blue Angel, and Nordic Swan; the recycled content in devices; and their energy consumption. HP is also working to include information on the packaging of products and their overall carbon footprint.
