Partners can still source the full range of storage solutions offered by both Western Digital (WD) and Sandisk, after the companies announced that they have completed their split into two separate companies.
► WD will now sell HDDs with Sandisk offering flash products
► GCC team continues to support both brands
WD will now sell all hard disk drive products, while Sandisk will supply flash technologies, such as SSDs, memory cards, and USB drives. Western Digital first announced its intention to separate the HDD and flash businesses and create two independent companies in October 2023. It had acquired Sandisk nine years earlier.

The complex bifurcation is now complete, but TD SYNNEX continues to offer products from both companies, ensuring consistency for partners on two of the biggest brands in storage.
While changes to product details or SKUs and channel structure may yet be implemented, the team at TD SYNNEX Global Computing Components (GCC) will keep partners informed and continue to support partners for all their storage needs.
