Apple has announced the new iPad mini, featuring the A17 Pro chip, which delivers faster CPU and GPU performance and has a neural engine that is twice as fast as the previous-generation iPad mini, and Apple Intelligence – Apple’s generative AI system.

The new iPad mini is available in four finishes, including a new blue and purple, and features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. It also comes with support for Apple Pencil Pro and the 12MP rear camera supports Smart HDR 4 for natural-looking photos and increased dynamic range. The camera uses machine learning to detect and scan documents using the camera app.
