Cisco has integrated its flexible, cloud-delivered Umbrella security services with its Meraki MX range of multifunctional SD-WAN appliances, providing you with a simplified way to deliver IPsec tunnel connectivity that makes it easy and fast for you to deploy cloud-native security across distributed locations.
► Comprehensive all-in-one protection just got even better
► Gives admins’ more visibility and control over policy management
Meraki MX appliances offer a broad set of security capabilities and with Umbrella DNS now fully integrated they are even more attractive as an all-in-one secure access service edge (SASE) solution for organisations that want to be sure their network is fully protected.

Using Umbrella with Meraki MX is the simplest way to deploy DNS on a wired network. It effectively provides DNS-layer security, secure web gateway, cloud access security broker and an application-aware firewall, from a single device.
Umbrella policies will be selectable in the Meraki dashboard, allowing administrators to create granular policies on a per-VLAN basis, or by using Meraki group policies. It also gives them greater visibility of identities and with the simplified IPsec tunnel connectivity of Meraki MX, outbound traffic can be forwarded to Umbrella for more advanced inspection and control web and applications traffic. It also makes it possible to protect devices while they are off the network.
