TD SYNNEX has extended its successful partnership with Google to include the new and ground-breaking Android Enterprise Essentials mobile security service, which makes deploying and managing devices much easier and more cost-effective for organisations of all sizes.

  • New solution plugs a gap in the market and offers easy, automatic mobile security

  • Gives partners access to a wider opportunity and huge potential

  • Specially-developed Android Essentials Zero-Touch Enrolment site already up and running

To simplify ordering and management, TD SYNNEX has set up the Android Enterprise Essentials Zero-Touch Enrolment area on InTouch (it’s online procurement and order management platform). This is already up and running, making it easy to add, register and enable devices. TD SYNNEX already has a strong partnership with Google on Chromebooks and the Pixel range, and this extends and adds further strength to that partnership.

Google Android Enterprise Essentials to make securing mobile devices easier

Simon Bennett, Director, Enterprise Software and Cloud, TD SYNNEX, UK and Ireland, stated: ‘The explosion in use of mobile devices has led to mobile device management becoming a big challenge for organisations. Up to this point they have been faced with making a choice between highly-functional ‘full fat’ enterprise-focused solutions that are quite expensive to deploy, or basically, having no MDM.

‘While over 50 percent of the mobile devices deployed for business use in Western Europe are Android-based, according to IDC*, most businesses do not have an MDM solution in place. That’s the gap that Google’s Android Enterprise Essentials is aiming to fill – and it is now available through TD SYNNEX.’

Uniquely, TD SYNNEX is able to combine the skills and capabilities that it has within its specialist business units to meet all the needs of reseller partners, from consultancy and design through to implementation, service, and support. With Android Enterprise Essentials, teams from the Enterprise Software and Cloud business unit are working in close collaboration with the TD SYNNEX Security Practice to support partners.

In addition, TD SYNNEX is making it easy for partners to learn about the solution and the opportunity through training modules covering Android Enterprise Essentials Zero-Touch Enrolment. These will be available to existing reseller partners free of charge on TD SYNNEX’s Channel Academy training platform.

Android Enterprise Essentials has been created, from the ground up, to provide a mobile security solution that can be deployed easily on any Android device. Android Enterprise Essentials has all the key functionality that any organisation will need. With more than half of all mobile systems in use within businesses today running Android (including smartphones and tablets), it presents a massive opportunity, both for B2B resellers and MSPs.
