HP unleashes ‘industry’s largest’ portfolio of AI PCs

HP has announced what it claims to be ‘the industry’s largest’ portfolio of AI-enabled PCs. They include new HP Elite and Pro PCs, featuring Copilot and Windows 11 Pro, and ‘Z by HP’ mobile workstations.

► Range of powerful new workstations also unveiled

► Collaboration with NVIDIA to ease AI development

► Poly Studios devices form part of extensive announcement

HP has made use of both the latest Intel Core and AMD Ryzen processors in the Elite and Pro PC ranges. The new models also come with the HP Smart Sense feature, which adjusts settings based on individual usage to optimise performance and power. HP also claims this can make PCs run up to 40% quieter. In addition, they come with Poly Studio audio and dynamic voice levelling, and an AI noise reduction feature. Automatic framing offers improved camera interaction for collaboration work.

The extensive line-up of laptops includes the powerful HP Elite 1000 series G11 notebooks, which offer up to 21 hours of battery life, HP says, and up to 80% better graphics performance and as much as 132% faster AI video editing compared to the previous generation. Over 70% of major parts in these devices contain recycled materials – including recycled fishnets in the keyboard. New Elite small form factor desktop devices have also been announced.

In addition, there are several ZBook mobile workstations, also with AI technology built in. These devices have exceptionally powerful specifications and are squarely aimed at design, video rendering, visualisation and project management work.

All the products come with HP Wolf Security for Business and HP has also launched HP Cloud Endpoint Manager SaaS – a purpose-built service for mission-critical devices.

HP made several other announcements alongside the PC devices, including a cloud-based AI development platform that makes extensive use of NVIDIA technology and Poly Studios smart cameras and software technologies that can be used with HP solutions to provide enhanced meeting room experiences.

HP has also announced new conferencing monitors and peripherals (keyboards and mice) including the HP Series 7 Pro range, with 27- and 34-inch models that have integrated AI privacy webcams.
