19 SKUs for HPS, data centre, and cloud use announced
The company has announced 19 new SKUs, including the flagship, 64-core 7763 processor which is designed for HPC, enterprise, and cloud workloads. Billed as ‘the fastest server processors in the world’, the third-gen EPYC Milan chips deliver a 19% increase in instructions per clock (IPC) compared to the second-gen Rome models. They come with integrated PCIe Gen 4 connectivity and enhanced security.

As more organisations look to design and build their own data centres, the EPYC Milan chips provide an additional and attractive set of options for designers and integrators. They are available from TD SYNNEX’s Global Computing Components (GCC ) business unit, along with all other equipment and components needed to construct customised systems.
