David Watts, UK&I managing director of TD SYNNEX, recently did a full-length interview with Marc Sumner of Channel Chat, in which he talked about how the IT market and distribution has changed, how TD SYNNEX keeps on working to earn the right to partner business, and his views on hybrid work.
► UK boss talks about evolving business models, differentiation and hybrid work
► TD SYNNEX developing alongside its customers’ businesses

Talking about TD SYNNEX’s evolution, he points out how channel businesses have developed in different ways and notes that almost 40% of the company’s UK turnover now comes from cloud and software. He also explains how TD SYNNEX makes a difference by developing its business alongside its partners to support their journey into the cloud, IoT, or security, with all the tools and experience that requires.
On hybrid work, he talks about how there is still a lot of experimentation but also expresses his view that we need time in the office to interact, at a person and business level.
